Actually, that looks like a lot of fun....

Keep the bodywork standard, and scare *everything* off the lights.

It's not clear from the website, is it still FWD?

looking at the underside photos you can see a rear diff, so I guess it's the whole mustang cobra drivetrain...

Makes sense. 500bhp of V8 muscle through the front wheels is not my idea of fun......

The 5.0l version at $15,000 is more realistic and probably just as much fun. However with the price difference in fuel between the US and here neither would be viable in the UK.

There's a company in the states that do a conversion for the MX5, just under £17000, gets you a 6.0litre corvette engine running gear etc fitted in your MX5, love to try one just for a laugh
