OK, so ther are people who want to sell and people who want to buy, is this like Amazon for cars? This could be good.

Do we not need a service which can do this, put the car through a basic check, and sell it with a report. The used car industry is plagued by guys trying to double their money.

How hard can it be to devise a better way?

Sounds like a dreadful idea. If any dealer is economical with details of scratches, damaged trim, dirty interior (I've sat in an E70 X5 with the glovebox lid carefully shut after parting with £500 for a test drive / deposit. One of the sections came off in my hand yikes had to convince the Finance manager to release my deposit from his kung fu grip after I walked away) You should look at what you're buying, this is not a pair of trousers off ebay...

I could see the appeal of cutting out the handover, test drive, going to said dealership, especially in this age of Coronavirus... but what if you aren't happy with the purchase? What's the Returns process? How is the matter of the V5 dealt with, and other relevant documents? scratchchin

Many have tried, few have succeeded, if any.

So let me get this right. After months of slagging down Cazoo, Peter Waddell decides that this actually isn't a bad idea and copies the idea? Brilliant.

But looking at that site they only arrange finance, not car sales, so this may be an expansion.
This article doesn't make it clear if the cars available for sale will only be from dealers or private car owners wanting to sell their cars.
One part of the article was interesting; "plus a seven-day, no-quibble return policy if a customer is unhappy with their vehicle."
