I'm really surprised this hasn't made bigger news, and especially on a site like PH.
This guy was an automotive legend, the likes of which will probably not be seen again - and the grandson of Ferdinand Porsche.
He was known as a bit of a dictator, so nothing major happened at VW without his knowledge.
Which makes the timing of his resignation from VW in April 2015 rather interesting.......perhaps he hot footed it away in a VW Tdi....
Well, ignoring that, a true legend.
