Teutonic hybrids - or lack thereof??

It appears that all German hybrid cars have suddenly become unavailable! I spoke to VW on Friday - they are overwhelmed with orders and can’t take any more for at least 6 months. Audi are unable to take orders. Mercedes and BMW have both stopped selling them. You can still buy Japanese but no Germans. Strange eh?? Or am I just a conspiracy theorist ?

The new emissions test WLTP has affected all the vehicle CO2 ratings and hybrids aren’t rated quite as efficient as they were previously.
