Hi everyone...
I live in Spain at the moment, and travel back and forth. I have just sold my UK car because I was hardly using it. I borrow a friend's car when I come over usually. I used to be able to drive any car as I had my own policy so I could drive third party legally. Now I don't though.

I also want to preserve my NCB (12 years) for when we move back.

Any suggestions for an efficient way of doing this. My wife has the same issue...

Thanks

Andre

How long until you move back only NCB is good for 2 years since the end of the policy it was gained on?

We don't know. But could easily be 5 years.

Assuming you are driving a car in Spain and building up no claims over there some insurers will accept that in the UK.

Unless you are high risk it might not be that bad to start again when you come back.
