Rover 825 Sterling Coil failure

Hi,
A mate of mine has one of these which has let him down due to a coil failure.Apparently,this model has 3 coils,one for each pair of cylinders and one is overheated and broken.He is having trouble locating anywhere who could replace this part.

any help would be much appreciated.

Has he looked for Honda legend parts? Also as it's a Honda v6 do any of the other Honda lumps use the same coils?

It won't be a Honda V6 - it's a Rover KV6.

I found that Intermotor do the coil packs for the 4 cylinder T series - maybe they do them for the KV6, too. Alternatively, sign up at www.rover800.info/foum, ask to be given access top sales and wants and there's a good chance that someone will have one.
