i just bought a 111 nightsbridge se. i`m planning 160 brake vvc conversion. do any of you nice chaps have a list of stuff i`ll need to get besides engine and box?? also what brakes would i be able to squeez inside the 13" alloys lol or would i need to go bigger?.

If not already done so, get over onto Metropower.com website where a number of these conversions have been completed, including my son's who runs the site... Some of them are very fine indeed and of a high standard.

As can be imagined, they are a hoot to drive with suitable suspension, brake and tyre upgrades. The various 15" alloy wheels from the MGF / MG Montegos etc are a straight fit on the Rover Metros as they share the same hubs. Wheel arches need to be adjusted if going big alloy wheels.
