Firing Order Rover V8 with inline coil pack.

I have fitted an 8 inline coil pack attached across the back of the V8 engine. I believe this coil (ERR6269) was fitted to Gems engines. Anyone know the firing order with this system. Thanks in advance.

The firing order is unchanged (it's determined by the cam).

With this coil pack setup you'll be using wasted spark so you will need to wire each coil to a pair of cylinders:

1 + 6
8 + 5
4 + 7
3 + 2

You'll need to fire them in that order and configure your ECU to fire 1+6 when #1 is at the top of the compression stroke.
