got a rover 216 has wicked vibration when engine runs told by specialist top engine mount,, got one had it on .. bit better now two days on vibes again.. gearbox is sha"""ed would this have any influence cheers

Hard to say remotely ~ gearbox a possibility but, could be a number of things causing that. Honda or Rover engine?

My advice would be to get at least one other 2nd opinion, particularly from someone more familiar with these cars.
