Did you know that they bolted two turbochargers to the Metro 6R4 power plant and then slotted it into guess what...

IIRC, the Jaguar XJ220.

Not many people know that .... Did you know that.

There's a chap not far from me who has one of these XJ220s ~ much larger car 'in the flesh' and an awresome noise when it goes by. Not as awresome as the normally aspirated version of the engine in the Metro 6R4 ...

A rather long winded way of suggesting you search Jaguar websites if the information you seek is not forthcoming here. One of the owners of a Rover Group web site ... cannot remember which at the moment ~ has a 6R4 ~ might be worth starting a few similar threads on those sites.

Sadly, I do not think Haynes issued a manual for the 6R4 or, the XJ220 come to think of it..shame ...

Forget Jaguar ,They keep that sort of info secret.

Go on ebay...there was a guy selling a crank for an xj220 who is actually a 6r4 man.He may know.Search for finished auctions.
