Hi,

In short I'm looking for a mod friendly insurer.

I'm a long term Rover fan, I have a modded P5B which I love, and I have finally persuaded my partner to sell her old Pug 306 and we are buying her a Rover 200 BRM. :-)

Can anyone recommend a good insurance company for it? It's standard apart from the Janspeed exhaust, but most companies won't touch it.

I've tried A-Plan, and have had no response yet, A Mannings quoted more than I pay for my modded TVR, which was a shock as she has a perfect driving record, and I do have a ...blemish on mine.

So any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Ian

You could try Adrian Flux. I've not had any dealings with them for years, but they've always claimed to be good for anything out of the ordinary.

Chris Knott gave me a good deal- although it really depends if you get someone nice on the phone. I did, he asked a load more questions, had words with the underwriter, and descided i was a good risk.

They're a broker, and the actual cover is with highway insurance
