Rover 100 radiator
Discussion
My daughters little Rover 100 runs just fine around town , but gets a touch hot (2/3 up the guage) when asked to work a bit harder (steep hills, motorways) . The head gasket seems fine - no leaks, no mayo, no loss of coolant and if I put the heater on then the temp stays lower. I've checked the radiator and it looks likely to be the problem. Most of the lower fins are missing, and the bottom half stays cold so I think it is most likely to be blocked. (anyone disagree?) I'm thinking I need to change it. I've sourced a spare and fitting it looks like an easy job.
I'm only slighly concerned about the refilling/bleeding process. I know there is a bleed nipple on the top of the heater pipes, and another just below the dizzy cap. Is there any where else I should bleed the system from and are there any tips for doing this job?
Thanks in advance
Andy

Thanks guys
Replaced the radiator today. Everything went well. The old one proved to be more knackered than a rabbit with two dicks!
Now runs bang on temperature, up hill down dale. refilling/bleeding turned out to be nothing more than a wee bit tricky, but all's well.
One more question though, is it just normal LM grease for the grease nipples on the rear radius arm pivots?
Cheers
