Ive been thinking of this conversion for a long time.
A while ago I saw TR7 V8 with a rear disc conversion based on
range rover rear discs and rover 800 calipers, same basic axle
as a SD1. I tried to offer up a RR disc bit the hole were too
small!!, but the right pitch, never got round to drilling them out.
I understand Demon Tweeks now do rear caliper with handbrake stuff
willwood I think, worth a look?.
Still will need an adaptor plate to mount the caliper to the end of
the axle, but Iam hoping it wont' be 'rocket science'.
Also if the front SD1 brakes can be swapped with XJS calipers, can
the discs?, in which case Jag bits may work.

SS Preparations do a rear axle conversion kit for the TR7/8 for £549 might be worth a look?
www.ss-preparations.co.uk/ click on TR8 parts and scroll down to page 28 of the PDF.
