I see the Chinese plan to launch these here in 2008. Will any of you enthusiasts buy them to replace your Rovers? I'll be interested to see how the quality compares. Read about them here if you haven't already. www.autoexpress.co.uk/news/autoexpressnews/205587/roewe_450.html

But they're not Rovers. Ford own Rover and when Ford get around to producing a new Rover (which they are looking into) then I'll be first in cue. But I will never buy a Chinese built Rowe.

Where did you hear about Ford building Rovers? Sounds like a good move for them. Unless they get too tied up with nostalgia as they did with Jag.

I'd have thought the last thing Ford need at the moment is another brand and range of cars to develop, given their huge losses.

Well insider sources say Rover is going to be introduced with a heavy relationship with LandRover. But feasability studies are taking place which make take a while.
