Morning all - my 620ti needs a new exhaust, and if I'm going to be spending £100+ on an OE one I'm trying to work out whether it's worth paying another hundred or so for a stainless aftermarket number. I'm not looking for something that sounds apocalyptic, and a solution that is fairly quiet on a light throttle would be good for longer journeys - but if I could find something that sounded nice under load/freed up any power or throttle response, I'd be well happy.

yuck and no chav tailpipes please yuck

So, has anyone had any experiences good or bad with aftermarket 620ti exhausts? Any recommendations?

I've been looking at this sort of thing - Moongoose under eBay item number 290021229760

I have the Mongoose, it's not too loud but has a lovely exhaust note.... I can highly recommend it.

Great - thanks.

That's certainly the favourite at the moment. Turns out I might be selling up , need to decide that first but if I can justify keeping the car I shall go mongooose hunting

Just got a Ti with a Powerflow fitted, it's not too loud but has quite a low burble, no TVR but it's ok for what it is.

I had a Mongoose on my old Vitesse Sport - sounded nice when giving it and quiet on normal.

i'd fit one to my Ti if i could get the trade price cheaper, but i havent been dealing with Mongoose for long enough it seems

as an alternative, try BlueFlame - they used to make Mongoose Exhausts.
