Rover pic in Orkney
Discussion
Anyone know which model of Rover appeared in the press photo with the car lifted by helicopter onto a sea stack in Orkney in the 70's or 80's?
The sea stack is a smaller version of the Old Man of Hoy and is called North Gaulton Castle, which we walked past today near Yesnaby.
Better still, anyone have a copy of the pic?

It was under my nose all the time!! A friend here in Orkney sent me the link on the Orkney Communities site, but I was originally misinformed - not 70's or 80's but 1994. In the intervening 20 years some of the stack has gone but you might just fit a Smart for 2 on what's left.
