Now this is a proper Rover 75

Seen at the Practical Classics Restoration Show at the NEC on 29th March 2015:~
Impressive or what?
The actual Rover 75 :~
The imposing radiator grill Viking Badge :~
The equally impressive badge on the spare wheel boot lid cover :~
Really enjoyed looking at the fabulous old cars there. One or two very amusing exhibits. The driver of this car cannot know if he's coming or going ...
We've all heard of Barn Finds, this must be a Hedge Find :~
As a small boy in the 1950s, I remember standing in front of one of these Jaguars when the massive lights were turned on .... felt the heat :~
We took loads of pictures. My son Martin had his ongoing restoration project X-Reg MG Metro 1300 on one of the stands :~
Well done to all who put on this interesting show. I also bought a few quids worth of quality tools at very good prices.

Very nice Rover. I haven't seen one of those for ages. I still always think of the P4 s the 'proper' Rovers, but then I grew up with them, not the older ones.
I also remember a friend's mother in the 1970's saying how she once owned a Jaguar 3.5litre and I thought 'What does she know, everybody knows Jaguars are 3.4 litre'. Of course, we all learn
