Best £1000 I ever spent
Discussion
Yep, it will certainly be the best grand you'll spend,I did similar. In 2009 I paid £2300 for a one owner,2001 28K miles 2.5 V6 Connie SE.It's just coming up to 70K miles now,had two services and other than a fan repair for £200 it's been faultless.W're thinking of having a re-arrange of the family fleet, but the 75 won't be going anywhere!

Interested to note the fan repair...On cold screen defrost I noticed a vibration the other day as if fan bearings were getting on a bit..Other than that it is faultless though.

See my post above, unless you're unlucky ,get a good low mileage one for peanuts and there's nothing to worry about, certainly no more than any other car built between 8 and 14 years ago.
Get a several owner gappy history example and you'll be putting you hand in your pocket no doubt.
If mine breaks,I'll simply get another one.

Mine isn't a several owner gappy history example - I've had it from new . . .
Fair enough, and sorry to hear that.Either I've been very lucky,(and also the 3 owners I know who have bought since), or you've been very unlucky. What year and spec is it, and what bills were over a £1000?Gassing Station | Rover | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
