rover 100 engine

hey guys can anyone tell me if the 1.4 AUTOMATIC k series gearbox will fit to a 1.6 manual. are the automatic and manual engines the same or is it like the mini a series where the gearboxs cant be interchanged?

I don't know, I was anticipating a question about the 6-cylinder 2.6 litre P4 Rover 100 . Never did get used to a Metro being called a Rover 100

yes it will fit all the k series blocks are the same from the 1.1 to the 1.8

you will need to change the flywheel / torque converter but it will go on

WHY though ?
