Picked up my P6 yesterday smile Drove it about 150 miles and had a really lovely day! Drove 50 miles today as well!

It's a '72 P6 V8 automatic in Almond with a black leather interior.

Heres some pics:

Cracking looking P6 that, well bought by the looks of it!

Having a tow bar comes in handy for those happy occasions when some silly s*d comes right up close for a gander at the V8 badge.....happened to me down in the Cotswolds with my old 2000TC a few years back, I stopped at a junction but the poor lamb in the big Vauxhall behind didn't...... felt a slight bump, not a mark on my trusty P6 but a gaping hole in his front valance...... ;-)

Get some overiders on the back (if you can find a good pair), V8s look a bit bare without them!

Ah, but was he looking at your V8 badge on a 2000TC??? wink

Good to see P6s being used though - don't see enough of them out and about anymore.

That is a lovely looking P6. I'm new to the forum but drive a '73 3500 auto (tax exempt by the skin of its teeth!) , which has been retrofitted with an SD1 5 speed gearbox and electronic ignition. It's a pleasure to drive if a little tatty to look at. Yours is a very tidy example, it looks well looked after.

Will.

A similar thing happened to me!. A fella reversed into me though, and the over-riders on my front bumper caved his tailgate in! My car was pretty much unscathed with only a bent bumper bracket to show haha
