Hi all. The passenger window switch on my wavy dash Tuscan seems to have an issue: the up button isn't working and there's no tactile click when pressing it. The back lights on the passenger window buttons remain on and the door knob back light is constantly glowing amber, indicating an issue.

At the moment I can't get the passenger window up, so the car is not secure, nor can I leave it off the battery charger for too long, as the window switch lights are on all the time.

Does anyone know if there's an easy fix, or where to get a replacement switch? Am I right in the unit also being used in the T350 or Sagaris?

Cheers.

Fixed!! For now at least...

Thanks to all for your excellent suggestions and advice.

I disconnected the door ECU and left it disconnected while I disconnected the switch/door control panel (which was surprisingly easy to get to) and had a fiddle with that. I think the problem was the 'UP' switch had got stuck in the pressed position, which was upsetting everything. A little leverage with an appropriate tool and the switch released and when everything was reconnected it seems to work ok.

And while the centre bolster was out the way I adjusted the hand-brake warning light switch, which was staying on when the hand-brake was off.

And to top it off, I managed to fix the driver's side footwell heater vent, which had become dislodged.

A good day spent in the garage.

Isn't this what TVR ownership is all about?
