Read March Evo mag (the one with the sagaris on cover)
and you will see a report on the Tuscan S. It states that the ports have been tweaked from the development of the 440R.

Just a point. Either TVR or Evo have some facts wrong maybe..

To be read in conjunction with myths and misconceptions.

I think that is fair comment. The Tuscan S has gone from 390 to 400 bhp and porting may be responsible for this. My conversation with TVR was more focused around the issue that the design and components of engines have not been changed within a particular engine permutation. These are therefore:

3.6l 350bhp
4.0l 360bhp
4.0l RR 380bhp
4.0l early Tuscan S 390bhp
4.0 current Tuscan S 400bhp

If a 4.0l 360 bhp failed and was rebuilt, they are telling me that the rebuilt engine would use exactly the same form of components as original, the same head with the same oil channels.

Theres a fairly brand new (2003?) Tuscan S at Hawthorns TVR reading 405bhp. Anybody care to shed a light on that?
