I picked up my Tuscan from Henley TVR on Saturday, drove it down to Steyning where I live. Despite the forecast for rain the sun shone. I was forced to take the country roads back because of the bank holiday traffic clogging up the major routes. Needless to say I had great fun, generally doodling along and passing the occasional car when the opportunity arose . Had a slight problem with the bonnet popping up, but sorted that out today after adjusting the clips.
I cannot wait till Tuesday to get it out again, I have to go out with the family tomorrow so will be in the Honda. I’ll keep you posted on how I get on. If you see me about (and I will be in it a lot my reg no. is X1 DVP) let me know.

Many thanks, I will come the some meets once I get organised. I will also sort out photos, should have done it yesterday whilst the sun shone. I should also do some track days all being well.

Welcome to the joys of Tuscan ownership. A good choice of colour & what is mine - yes Rolex Blue. I'm in Brighton & you'd be welcome to join us in East Sussex - we meet Piltdown Man on A272 on the last Thursday of the month. Check out www.tvrcc-east-sussex.co.uk to see what we're up to.

Be seeing you.

Good colour choice, on a grey day it looks quite understated but when the suns out it goes iridescent purple and it turns heads everywhere.

Still getting used to the car, having great fun. I have created a little web page with some pics for those of you with high speed access. The pics are a bit big, just threw it together for now and will sort something better later. Here is the link for those who are interested....

welcome to tuscan ownership.

I managed to see the pics then your bandwidth was exceeded!! plenty of interest in the car then! it looks great, I love the colour (mine is Titanium so i'm not biased!)

Don't let all the negative posts put you off, I've had mine 2 years from new and no major issues. I love it and enjoy the look, noise, attention, speed etc etc. Would rather put up with a couple little niggles than drive a boring car anyway!

Just a word of warning though! I have a 'learner' driver as well, 4 years old, He loves 'driving' the Tuscan, until one day he realised the cigarette lighter works without the keys in and made a lovely pattern in the leather on the transmission tunnel

H L Gorner got someone to repair it and they did a fantastic job though!

Enjoy the car, I do

And well done in exceeding your bandwidth!

Thanks, I have reduced the size of the pics so bandwidth issues should be resolved. Hapily I have removed the cigarette lighter, but thanks for the tip.
