Hi,

another question to the profis there:

To replace the original speakers by my new focal 130V2, i must try the wires to the boot where is the amp and the frequence-weichen.Its no problem.

But to get + and - from the battery which is in the front(remove the hood?), and the chinch-cables to the radio, i will go more than crazy.

Have somebody pics?

thank you

sorry for my english

ps:greets from sunny Cologne,Germany

Have somebody an idea, where to fit the cables in the car?

And to get minus? Isn`t a metal chassis.

speak to the factory in Blackpool they have done this before
to get to the battery either jack up car and remove wheel (most room to work with) or turn wheel on full lock

and remove the plate with 4 bolts on the back side of the wheel arch

The battery is not in the engine bay, it is between the passengers feet and the front wheel, access is from inside the wheel arch (I assume this is the same on a Left Hand Drive car as well?)

There is a rubber bung with a hole in it behind the carpet in the passenger footwell with cables coming from the battery in to the car, you can use this to run cables from the battery in to the car, then take them down the side of the seat under the door = there is enough room behind the carpet here - then there is plenty of room behind the panel the seat belt goes through (the fuzzy felt panel) - removing the speaker here will help with access - and from here you go over the top of the rear wheel arch and up to the top corner of the rear shelf, just below the rear screen, there is a gap here on both sides to the boot - from there on run the cables under the carpet - it is glued in place and can be ripped up and restuck easily enough

If you need to run cables down the drivers side as well then from the passenger side bring the cable up behind the dash shelf, there is room behind the shelf and it runs the width of the car, then down the side as before

Hope this helps - sorry I dont have any pictures, I used this route for the amplified aerial on my car so I know it works!
