Advice on sports cans plz !!!
Discussion
The Tuscan S (400 BHP) is almost here and I was thinking of replacing the cans for sports ones, any advice on which ones to go for would be much appreciated. Also are there any performance advantages at all?
PS I used to have a Cerbi 4.5 and I loved the cracking and popping,
if this could be replicated, all the better.

I got the Titanium cans from CCC and they featured them once fitted in their brochure. These are the top of the range and are superb for looks and sound. Service was fantastic as well. Ordered on a Wed, on the car by Sat. They do a big range to suit colour and pocket. Give them a call, very helpful. Do keep your orginals for track days as these babies do increase the decibal level somewhat. Enjoy.
Very happy with my CCC cans (plain stainless steel rather than coloured, etc). But the pops & crackles are much more hollow (max-power) sounding than on the sports-piped Cerby. Would love a richer sound.
Delivery was excellent - ordered on the Wed afternoon, arrived on the Thu. No effort to fit at all (£10 cash at the local exhaust place as the old ones were well & truly stuck) - should be fine on a new car.

is the car all sorted now then ? CCCs just the final touch ?
Sorted? Nah, I'm just beginning on it!

I've been away to the Dark Continent for the last week and a bit, so haven't had chance to get anything sorted on it. It's in with Joolz at the moment to get the Nitrons put on it (which'll hopefully sort the handling problems out). With any luck a couple of little electrical niggles will be taken care of at the same time (e.g. hazard warning lights not working), along with finishing off sorting out the lumpy running. Then I just need to find a couple of weeks when I'm not going to be around to have the dash-pod replaced with one that consistently gives the same reading from the analogue/digital speedos

Most of the kit for the in-car PC setup arrived whilst I was away too - just spent this evening playing with my widescreen monitor.

Anyway, the CCC cans... they were just a "quick fix" (for me and the car) that needed doing.
