Last night on the way back from the pub, I got in the car, inserted the ignition key and started her up. I immediately got a message of "!Warning! .0v" and an incessant beep. The battery charge light had gone out so I assume it was not alternator. I did not want to stop until I got home as purhaps it would not start again and once home, switched off waited for a while and fired her up again but no problem this time.

Shes in for a service on Monday and I will ask then but in the mean time any ideas what it all means ?

Hate to say this, but "They all do that Sir". Both my Tuscans did it, as does my 350.
It usually happens when the car has lain for more than a few days, the battery voltage drops when turning over, so the lightning quick computer senses low voltage and gives you a warning?

Mine does that, I'm sure it is its way of having a grumble about not being driven for a few days.

This is a software glitch on the earlier cars, you will find your clock is reading ?? ?? rather than the correct time, if you enter the time it should all be fine.

It's happened maybe twice a year since I've had mine, so not really a major concern !

cheers

I also had that after a service, hadn't even driven out of the service area, so I got a mechanic straight out. He just turned the right hand knob on the pod slightly, problem went away! His comment was of course "they all do that sir". At least this is an easy fix to try.
