As the Cerbie boys are having a bit of a barny over how fast the various models are, I ask of you Tuscan owners from personal experience or by witnessing only.......

How Fast??

95mph, not running in. After just over 1 weeks ownership and less than 200 miles under my belt I'm still familiarising. The car scares me! I think soon I shall be booking one of those advanced courses, Ride Time or The Wetter The Better.

130 private road roof off- felt stable and calm like its just stretching its legs after a little nap

edited to say:
Phil - dont worry about the car, I was just the same and it is quite scary at first. This is my first TVR -to be honest first RWD high powered light weight car. When I picked mine up it was allready run in - but i bottled putting my foot down for a couple of days - the first time i did i couldn't see a thing everything went blured. When I first heard it start up i thought for a split second oh god i'll be dead in a week. But stick with it and take it easy through the bends I am going to book a ride drive course soon as now I cant stop flooring it, and want to know how to drive it properly and get the most out of it. I love it

141mph, roof on, but won't tell where or when. Plenty left in it but ran out of clear road.

Good man!

Familiarising yourself with a powerful car or bike should be just like you take your bends:

SLOW IN - FAST OUT!!!!

I´ve had mine up to about 150 mph on a private test track between Leeds and Hull. It was surprising how stable the car felt and it was still pulling very well.

147.7 I think. Accurate cos it was a police speed gun that measured it but not so sinister as it sounds. Check out Nov 2003 edition of Sprint for more. BTW that was uphill and loads left!!BO SELECTA

Had my Cerbie indicating 160 at the end of the runway at Duxford before I had to put the anchors on big time .

I'd like to say how fast my Tuscan managed, but the speedo goes all wobbly over 100!!! But it didn't feel as quick.
