I've got 16's on my newly acquired X reg Tuscan and was wondering how much it would cost to upgrade and what was entailed? Ideally I'd like to get the anthracite coloured ones and I'd obviously need new boots on them.
I'd obviously look at trading in/selling the current anthracite 16s which are in top condition, with very good Toyos on the back and good SO2s on the front.
- sorry if this has been covered before, but I searched and couldn't find a definitive price.

New rims from a TVR dealer are approx £165 each including VAT. Toyo tyres to fit, as an example, will be around £100-150 per corner depending on where you buy them (like internet) and taking account that the rear tyres are wider than the front on a standard Tuscan. You would therefore be looking at £1100-1200 if you go for everything new.
As to what is required, I'm not absolutely sure. I seem to remember that some spacers may be required to give the front wheels clearance when on full lock. Consequently the steering lock will not be quite as good.
I was told by TVR that the later chassis designs improved the turning circle with 18" rims due to use of different pick up points for the suspension.
Hope that helps in some way, although its probably not the full story!

Brand new, you should be able to pick them up for £1200 all in (ordering tyres from Black-circles, mytyres.net, etc).
I got the 18" spiders on my Cerb secondhand for £250 + tyres (£600 ish as I tried a couple of sets), and that was with them resprayed (in silver). It needed bump-stops on the steering rack to stop them catching, but that was it - not sure if the Tuscan will need any mods to accomodate them. Can vouch that my turning circle is absolute pish, though.
Try somewhere like Central TVR for sourcing pre-owned wheels - you might just have to wait a few weeks.
