removing armourfend
Discussion
is it possible ?
One car I am very interested in has it applied to the front section and arches.
is it simply a matter of pealing it off, or do I have to live with it ?
It's a personal thing I know, but I'd personally rather live with stone chips than a clear bit of plastic all over the nose (and the break in the line along the end of the armourfend which looks like it has been keyed a bit).
Not a big deal. I can live with it if it has to stay on. But thought I'd ask in case any of you have removed any before.

I believe it's a relatively simple process to remove. My rear three quarters had a very minor scratch with a post. The Armourfend took the brunt of the scratch, paint and bodywork were fine, but looked a little tatty. I got the panel of Armourfend replaced at the next service and it's all just like new.
Not quite clear from your description but where you've spotted "the edge of the armourfend looks like it's been keyed a bit" you're probably looking at polish/wax. The downside to armourfend is that you do have to be careful when you polish the paintwork to stop it building up at the edge of the film. That's what makes it visible.
Personally I wouldn't be in a hurry to rip it off for aesthetic reasons - it does protect the paint wonderfully and that tends to be reflected in the trade in price. Some dealers don't like it but you can't help but be impressed by a car that's completely chip free. It can be removed though - I think they heat it up again.

though admittedly, have just searched forum and found piccies of a sorry looking griff which had been stone chipped to hell.
so maybe I could live with it after all :-/
probably mine ... bare in mind that the car had done 24,000 miles in 12 months, a great deal of wich at high speed (motorways and track days)
I am seriously considering armourfend on the Griffith once it is resprayed this year, although it largely depends on how light/dark the car is IMHO .... with mine (black) I have a real anxiety about it, yet I have seen many TVR's in light blue, silver etc that it's hardly noticeable on....
