Taking the Tuscan to France over the Easter weekend, via P&O Ferries, anyone had any problems getting on or of these boats, with particular regards to grounding etc ?.

No problems, remember to leave the alarm disconnected whilst on board.

Philip, why do I need to leave the alarm disconnected, surely that means I can't lock the car ?.

I've taken mine on a wave piercer a few times. No problems for the 2 1/2 hour crossing to the UK from here.

Alarm's never been a problem (even on a rough crossing) for me so far in the Tuscan, but I did have a problem with the Boxster alarm going off on one trip a few years ago. Depends how sensitive it is I guess!!

If you have the S front spoiler you will need to be guided on/off the ramp. Sometimes ok sometimes not depends on the boat and how they have adjusted the ramp.

I allways go on the train now, its a lot easier.

Make sure the person following you on gives you room if you go up the spiral ramp inside the ferry as you may need to do a few shuffle manouvres. Those things are not really built to cope with a Tuscan's turning circle!
