Im new to Tuscan ownership (had Chim for 2 years now)and I would appreciate some very brief assistance. 2 points.

Wing mirrors: What car are they from coz Ive got two cracked ones.

General reliability: Ive just read posts about engine rebuilds and clutch failure. My car has covered 18000 miles. What trouble can I expect?

Thank for your help in advance.

not sure about the mirrors, but my car has done 21,500 miles, and had no issues yet... everything works fine too. No signs of the clutch wearing out yet either... I guess this depends on its usage, but I use it everyday, with plenty of gear changes - hot and cold.

Search threads for engine and clutch... plenty on there to put your mind at rest.
Don't worry... just enjoy!!

Don't worry about anything untill it happens, not worth ruining your enjoyment.Nothing you can do about it anyway.

Yep they are definately VW Corrado mirrors with a hole drilled for the door release switches. Try a breaker as they are about £50 per side - just for the glass!
