After a continuous hard spell of work, involving around the clock hours and weekends...I have finished a load of exams this very morning.

I celebrated not by going t'pub, but instead coming home and taking the Tuscan for a spin. Due to bad weather, salt...and me not having the time to enjoy it, she has been tucked up in the garage for the last two months with only an Accumate and car cover as company.

She started first time and idled nicely. Then warmed her up and took her for a gentle jaunt, gradually piling on the power down some nice local country roads enjoying the sunshine. Soon I was hooning about like a good 'un and seeing the shift lights pop on. Life is good, but its even better today whilst rewarding my efforts with a nice raucous cruise. ah...

Keep an eye out for me, I'm just about to do the same thing. I'm having a crappy week and the only remedy is going to be a bit of roof off hooning.

Good to hear it Bryan. I get back to the UK next Tuesday, and hopefully should have the car back from TVR later that week. I can't wait to drive it.

Hi Bryan,
Know what you mean, the last 12 months has been as our good lady once said, "Annulus horribilsiss" I don't know if I have spelt it right, but in laymans terms sh*t has been sh*t. Monday past, was when my company finally went into liquidation with the creditors meeting, hopefully that is now the worst over with and we can start rebuilding, therefore my missu's and I are taking a week out commencing Monday next, travelling the UK for a bit of sight-seeing, a bit of walking and relaxation, culminating with a 2 night stay at Blackpool on Thursday & Friday hoping that there's eventually a sum of cash left for me to purchase my new Tusc that we've been promising ourselves for the end of the year.
Hope to see some of you on the road "mines the Blue Tuscan" was my second car now it's my only one, loud horns and flashes please if we eyeball.

Best Regards,

James Sim.

If all works out I could be picking my car up from the factory on Thursday or Friday next week. I`ll keep my eyes open for you.

Good luck then James - I hope all works out for you fortune wise, and that a new TVR may grace your drive in the not so distant future.

I've not been to the factory since last year, a visit is long over due for me too! Maybe it will provide me with another excuse for a hoon upto sunny (!) Blackpool. Have fun guys.
