I am going to order a pair of CCC cans (has to be done really!). My Tuscan is Crystal Topaz, what colour do you guys and gals think would go best? I am thinking along the lines of dark blue or Titanium.

Never got around to going the CCC route (yet?) but I tried a set of all gold ones against the car when at PistonHeads meet last year - they looked fantastic - picking out the yellow/gold colour in the paint. Don't buy any blue or titanium ones until you've seen the gold!

A contrasting blue would be a winner - is there a bronze? Would that work?

Edited to say Doh! - just read the second post. But just goes to show I have good taste after all

Well if you don't want to join the party...you could stay at home.

I bought the Titanium cans...mind you they were the only ones that worked with my colour but think they look good on most.

Alan.

Miserable To"£ers.

As if people don't find colour coordination important with their cars, especially TVRs, where each car has individually been specced right down to the colour of the piping on the carpet.

I was just after a few ideas of what people thought would look good on an unusual coloured car, also CCC will do the cans in whatever colour you want.

Please don't make a habit of it! .

The question at least makes a change in direction on these pages from where it has been heading lately.

Incidentally, a reminder to all newcomers that there is a Tuscan Owners Group on Yahoo Groups and a searchable database of Tuscan ownership stuff there too. Its a closed forum meaning you need provide the chassis number of your car to gain membership.

Stainless steel looks the best.

Maybe jigs does not want CCC's on his cheap Tuscan in 2007 ?

I'd say in 2007 potential buyers will be spoilt for choice - it'll depend on my nail varnish colour on the day I go Tuscan hunting.

Ah, girls thread, better join in then!

For what my opinion is worth I like the stainless steel ones. Having said that, I haven't seen any gold ones, somehow I imagine them looking a little 'bling'. Just my 2p's worth!

Neil, get the cans done, the noise is lovely.... pop pop bang! (Still not quite as nice as the sound of my V8, but hey I can't have everything!)

I have titanium ones from CCC and they are blue thru to gold, like an oil slick or heated metal. (They used mine in their brocure.) They sound fantastic, cost about £400. I can email photo to you if you want. email me off piste.

I have heard these from the outside and they sound great, but I was wondering how much difference they make inside the car.

With our Exige whatever you do to the exhaust makes a big difference from outside, but none at all from inside as the engine / airbox drowns it all out.

Does it sound much different from inside with the CCC cans?
