rac full monty cover is it worth it?/
Discussion
we have always had either rac or AA cover, home start, roadside recovery etc.
but the more i speak to people that have had trouble, especially in the tuscans, the guy that turns up to assist has never done anything, just tow it away. They have all said, can't touch a tvr mate?? - will change our cover just to roadside and tow. any one else had any helpful assistance???

When you buy a new Tuscan you get a free 1 years AA "TVR" cover. You get a special number and on the one occasion that I have used it (because I'm a
, nothing to do with the car) the AA guy who came (in 15 minutes) was an ex TVR owner.
Maybe you can buy that cover from the AA? Perhaps worth asking your dealer.

I had full DirectLine cover (got a 25% discount so cheaper than RAC). I never normally buy cover as I never really need it.
However with the full cover I now get the option for them to bring me and the car home, which other levels of cover do not offer. This way I have the choice what to do with the car (fix myself or take to dealer etc).

When I left my lights on and drained the battery (silly thing to do I know) the AA came out and spent quite some time getting to the battery and giving me a jump start, he even called back to base to confirm which of the plug sockets was positive at one point, so they must have a lot of TVR info there - maybe it is just the RAC who wont do any work??
