car is in for its 12000 mile service and i was moaning my ass off as they gave me a nissan micra.

when driving home last thursday in it, i couldn't have been more happy, complete white out from amersham to aylesbury, 2 and a half bloody hours to get home, but all in one piece, thank god for front wheel drive.

any one else get caught out in theirs?? - the guy from the garage said it would have been a memorable journey if i was in her, his lotus spent the whole time side ways

Took me an hour and a half to get to Uxbridge station from Iver!! Was in the new XJR - automatics not reccomended in a blizzard. Scary.

Drove my Tuscan home from the office without any wheelspin that wasn't self induced.

Must admit everyone at the office thought i was mad including my Business Partner who has a Merc CLK with all the electronic traction garbage onboard. He couldn't stop the old german automatic sliding around all over the place.

Yup, drove home from Milton Keynes in the Tamora ... bloody nightmare. I eventually gave up 50 yards from home and fetched a bucket of aggregate to chuck under the back wheels. I think MK ground to a complete standstill shortly after I got out.

You're not wrong about MK Nige...my missus was stuck there (she works in MK). Luckily she managed to stay at a colleagues house. Even so Central MK to this womans house (all of one mile) took over two hours.

I got well and truly caught in it in Southampton, but someone 'up there' must have been smiling on me - the Tuscan was in for 12000 mile service, so when the numpty van driver drove into the side of me, I was in the company Laguna!

What Blizzards?
Oh for the joys of living in Jersey, all weekend roof off, sheer bliss. Just the small problem of a 40mph speed limit to worry about, I also went to watch a footy match at our national stadium in St Helier, and was surrounded by all these kids asking if it was alright to take pictures of the car with their mobiles.

Best Regards,

James Sim.

Took me half an hour to get in the car (10pm and the car was a block of ice) then another 1/2 hour to fill with petrol (boot wouldn't open)
Who says its a summer car?!
