Tivs. Two a penny round here. Are you a Basingstoke owner, kinky? The wife and I ae Chimaera owners.

Saw a lovely Gunmental Grey Tuscan near the Apollo hotel on Sunday.

I'll bet there's enough Tivs in Basingstoke to start a TVRCC region of our own....

Yeah - guilty as charged - S1 owner & working in Basingstoke.

The reason for my question is that I can do said owner a huge personal favour, which I'm sure he/she would be very glad of.

I live in Basingstoke and drive a Cherry Pearlescent R-plate Chimaera 500. But I'm moving to Yateley soon.

I'm also from Basingstoke - have a dark blue Chimaera 400. Lady opposite me has a green Griff 500.

How the neighbours must love us!

Basingstoke TVRCC? - You could try a joint meeting, with the Hants region, only a few miles away in Alton!

Thanks for the invite....

Unfortunately Hants TVR meets on the second Thursday of the month - just when I help run the local Wine Society monthly meeting.

Nice run down to Alton though

I'm in Basingstoke too -- green Cerbera 4.5. In fact I'm only a few doors down from Don, bizarrely enough.

Keith.

Ah yes. I've seen your beast. (Although not recently?). Very fine. Must try and blag a quick blast sometime - not having been a Cerbera owner myself.

I'd suggest a convoy over to Virginia Water and the 'S' meet this Sunday but we'll be coming from Silverstone if we get there...

Why don't the rest of you do it....?

Whose was the purple Cerbera 4.5 with the numberplate "V8 ***" in Basingstoke Pizza Express this lunchtime? Wasn't in the car park when I went in, but was there when I can out.

I was sitting in the corner with two ladies (helll-o). Ok, one was the head of HR and the other was my agent, but that sounds less interesting.

Unfortunately the verdict from the other two when we left was "nice car, don't like the colour". Ah well.

Sadly, Don, the last time my Cerbera went past your house was on a recovery truck -- new clutch required I'm afraid.

Still, I'll be up for a blast when I get it back!

I guess I'll be going to the GTs at Brands in the Citroen...

Oh dear, Keith. Sorry to hear that. Hope you get it back soon. We'll be heading for the GTs too. In the Chimaera and cheering the TVRs on (on raceday I pretend not to own a Porsche usually!).

If you spot us out washing the cars introduce yourself.

And bring the Cerbera when you get it back!

So no-one knows who the purple Cerbie was then?

Nope, not seen it before. But I have seen a yellow cerbera around Chineham several times, though not over the last month or two. And a pale blue tuscan between Basingstoke and the Wellington Hotel on the A33 (also a dark blue chim along this stretch). While I'm at it -- a pale blue cerbera sp6 between three-mile cross area and the offices near J11 on the M4. Only seem to meet it when I'm not in the TVR though

This is turning into "TVRs I've seen in and around Basingstoke"...

Clearly once someone's gone missing in the Basingstoke Triangle, that's it!!

"Do-do-do-do" you're now entering the TVR-light Zone
