Exchanged the Cerbie for a Tuscan S 10 days ago. Have since done over a 1000 miles. The Tuscan is bloody amazing!

Picked up my Tuscan S on 1st March. First TVR I've had, but I'm with you on this one. Awesome car. Haven't stopped driving. 1000 mile service booked for Monday!

Ok - should be done. Its a pic one of my mates took of me on Friday just after picking the car up!

Came out well!

PS. Like the plate? Maybe needs a space between the UR and 02....

Good pic!

Two points.
1, get the space put in! Cool plate

2, is it a cerb pretending to be a Tuscan? NO?? Then why was the damn roof still on it???
And if you must leave the roof on at least open the windows!!!!

Excellent 'on the road' pic.

Makes a change from the boring 'parked at the dealers' shot – like mine.

Lol.. sorry - the clouds were looming, in fact it had just been raining, (see pic below at the petrol station 10 mins previous) so that's probably why the roof was on. Don't know why the windows were up though! In my defence, I had only had the car about 30 mins. Was scared to death of the thing as it was, without trying to fiddle with those damn window knobs!

Getting the hang of it now though. Put 800 miles on it since Friday. Desperately want to get it run in so I can explore the rest of the power band and find out what this car is *really* like.

Had the roof off a bit more now too, now that I've had practice doing it a few times....

Will get some other plates made up this weekend...

Nice photo! Where can I find a steeply banked road like that?

Thanks for all the comments guys, I love the car to bits, and the response from people on the street has been amazing to put it bluntly! I watched earlier as I crawled along in traffic, and virtually every single person passing in the opposite direction gave at least a glance over at the car!

Popped to MV again today, and they have said they'll sort me out another plate with the spacing adjusted at the 1000-mile service on Monday. Like I said - the guys are faultless in their service... (so far )

As for the road, the one in the picture is the Ewell-bypass. Runs from the edge of Epsom, past Ewell, and down to the Tolworth-A3 roundabout - in Surrey.

Had an M5 sitting up my arse tonight trying to egg me on for a race. *So* wanted to put him in his place....

No fear - I put one in it's place for you earlier today . You'll get another opportunity soon

Oh, and congratulations Andy - I saw your car awaiting collection at MV and it looked fantastic.

I'll see you around Epsom/Kingston/Surbiton when we're both gratuitously burning petrol

Thanks...

Maybe it was the same one, which would explain why he was sooo determined to get in front of me. Quite amusing really.

He than sat there glued to my bumper, in rush hour traffic and at the first opportunity dived around in front of me... and then just sat there queuing like the rest of us.

Oh well.

We should get another S/E/K meet organised. I couldn't make the one at Christmas.

Hi Andy,

I've mailed you a couple of times in my previous life on the MX-5 list. My missus now owns a Boxster S - we sold the Maz yesterday back to Coventry Mazda.

What did you do with your 10AE ? Did you chop it in against the Tuscan ? I was a bit disappointed with my sellback - they wouldn't go above 9 grand, but hey, at least it's in my account now rather than theirs ! And I've got my driveway back !

Mate, that's one special looking car. I'm desperately trying to picture where your photo was taken - was it on the A3, just near Tolworth Tower ? Speed cameras a plenty round there.

Lovely car, congratulations, and happy motoring !

Its on the Ewell-bypass - heading from Epsom to Tolworth. The railway bridge in the background is the one that runs past where the old cinema used to be...

Are you sure that's by the old cinema...I thought it was by the New Malden roundabout on the A3?

Still... stunning car, getting one asap.
