Dashboard Illumination

Does the Tuscan have variable Dashboard illumination???
It either does and I can't find it or the bulb has gone. Either way, at the moment I can't see how fast I'm going in the dark

My Tuscan S does, but my 2001 Tuscan didn't. So it either depends on age of car or model. Hope this helps.

There's a knob for adjusting the dash brightness on the left hand side of the pod. Roughly the same position as the intermittent wipe speed control on the right side of the pod.

I don't know about yours but mine is adjustable (as described above) between bright and not-quite-so-bright....but can't be switched off.

Might be the car is built that way (age?) or the fuse, blown etc.

I'm not back until Friday night so can't check it until then. I thought it would be something simple. I just wasn't looking in the right place on Sunday.

I wonder if you can change the colour of the dash illumination? I asked when I had mine but no one seemed to know.

Would like great with the VW red on blue look!

Get some coloured glasses - you can change the colour of the car at the same time

Just got in. Went to check the other side of the pod and no variable adjuster.Guess I'll have to go down the blown bulb route.......

When I went to the Factory the Ladies in the 'Pod' department made up a pod for me to see with blue lights on all-silver pod - it looked wicked. Unfortunately TVR wouldn't let me have one! So, yes it can be done (with different coloured l.e.d's)

I've got the intermitent wipe adjuster but no dash illumination adjuster. Was it introduced after

Yes

TVR introduce all sorts of changes over the years, and the changes never happen on a certain date or build number, it is just when they have the bits, and if they ru out, then the next bunch dont get the mod
