Friend in Bracknell is getting married on Sat 28th Feb 2004, at the Wentworth golf course.........

Would offer to deliver him in my Griffith... but his mind is set on a Tuscan ... (no comments please )

Would any Tuscan owner be willing to commit to a one way lift for this happy man??? If so he would be much apprieciatve.

If so drop me a mail and I'll pass on the details so he can contat directly...

Cheers

I would do it for the petrol ( and a bite to eat) but i dont know so far ahead how my shift work is disintegrating. I would even clean it. Feb is a bit far away but e-mail me through my profile and I will see what I can do..

Sorry - but your friend needs sympathy - not a Tuscan!

As someone suggested Bespokes, thought I'd describe my Bespokes experience....

I was lucky enough to be given a free voucher for a day's rental mid-week (worth £350), and booked an additional day on top as I knew 24 hours would just not be enough (for an additional £100 + VAT). Be prepared for a £3000 deposit on your credit card though.

I think Bespokes have 2 avilable to rent.
First time I was supposed to pick one up, previous renter had floored it on a damp road in central London and crashed it into the railings...found out the evening before so had to cancel the 2 days leave I'd booked off.
Second time they informed me the day before that one was being repaired and the other was being tuned as was running rough - again, had to cancel the 2 days leave - my boss starting to get a little irked at this point.
Third time lucky as they say - I got an extra 50 free miles out of them for free (otherwise would have cost £2.50 per extra mile - not kidding), as they'd messed me about so much on the 2 previous occassions, but the car was awesome. It was a silver 01 Reg I believe.

Am now saving up my pennies for one.

Additionally, friends of mine had booked one from Bespokes for their honeymoon (a week's driving round champagne region in France) and but it got smacked 3 days prior to the wedding, so had to settle for an Audi TT instead (plus a voucher for a free mid-week's rental of a Tuscan - which they gave to me).

So I guess my point is, renting a Tuscan from Bespokes is an expensive but fun proposition, but wouldn't rely on them having a car available on the dates you book!

You need to speak to the photographer that we used for our recent wedding. He definately had a feel for the cars as he runs a Tuscan, could kill two birds with one stone that way.

I think Luca Brazi is already 'penned in' if not I am doing nothing better that day, I ask for nothing more (or less) than a slice of 'cake an a cup of tea' an maybe a roll in the hay with aunt sally....
