Tony is right, I have had a rear light retro-fitted this year. The brakelight unit was obtained from a TVR dealer for about £60 IIRC, but you could probably buy it from a motorfactor as it is a standard Hella LED unit. TVR buy them in from Hella.
I then ordered some matching ambla trim from Harrogate Horseless Carriages - but again, any TVR dealer with a helpful parts department could do the same. Then I got the job done by SQ Plus, a high end car audio/DVD supplier/fitter. They made a glass fibre pod, covered this with the matching trim, fitted in the brake light unit and then fixed to the underside of the roll bar - all for about £200. I'm very happy with the finished job as it does not look like an afterthought, but blends in seamlessly and is similar in style to the pods that house the indicators (but much smaller).
The later Tuscans have the light embedded in the roll bar area - this would cost (I believe) £600-700 to have TVR retrofit in the same style, quite a large job (if you believe them!). My version was far more cost effective and I think, just as good. It also makes the car a little more unique!
If you'd like some pictures, email me off line.
Regards
Bryan
