It's been a bit quiet in here, so I thought I'd just let you all know that I've just gone past 6000 miles (in 5 1/2 months!), and the car is still running as well as it did the day I picked it up!

Roll on the next 6000 miles!

Ed - don't tempt fate - hope you had everything crossed when you said that.

I'm very pleased for you, and I am sure it is a superb motor, but surely this is only what you should expect for £40,000 plus........

I agree, but there's been a lot of negative posts on here recently, so I thought I'd just add a bit of good news!

Sorry - can't quite read what you wrote, as my eyes are still crossed.

Good for you,
Mine's has been @7k miles in the last year, not bad for an Island 45sqm in area!I know I might sound a bit dizzy etc sometimes, and now you know why, but for me the only way forward is an upgrade to a later or new model. The only problem so far has been some throttle pot mods and a reletavily cheap solution to it.
I still cannot think of any other 4wheel motoring satisfaction available £-£, that comes even close to the experience of the Tuscan in the current market, that will give me the wandering eye.
Thank you TVR
James Sim.

Never mind Ed, I'm sorry to hear your TVR is running fine. Are you going to run it all through winter ? I want to to see the photos of your car on the snow!

Cheers,

Andy.

Our Tuscan has only just done 2k, but I have to say, it does feel well put together... marked difference to my late 2000 one.

As time goes on, I'm feeling more and more confident that the S6 are sorted. :crossfingersandeyes:
