First of all, is this the right name? secondly, when in place should it be a perfect flush fit all round or is it slightly raised at the back?

Well mine dipped in the middle but because of the materials used it can stick out or dipp slightly. Not all are perfect!

As long as the locking bolts are in place then you are fine.

Most people just refer to it as the roof as all Tuscan's are targa's...

Depends how you define perfect... Mine is a good fit, but is probably a mm or two above the rear section if you measured it accurately.

Typical isn't it - a good British invention - first used on Triumph TR4s nicked by the Germans.

I think we all expect some wind noise from our "individual, hand-built, limited production, etc" cars. however, there is a limit, and when all passengers find the need to lean forwards in their seat to aviod their ears being so close to the passenger rear section of the roof, I know the limit has been reached.
Has anyone else suffered from excessive wind-noise caused by an ill-fitting lid? Is there anything that the dealership can do? What are the solutions people have found so far?
Any replies appreciated, even the inevitable ones about baked bean and curries (!!!)
