Reversing Light

Hi

My reversing light comes on as it should when I select reverse gear, but as soon as I start moving it goes off again - not very helpful when trying to reverse into my narrow, unlit garage at night!
Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, how is it fixed?

A trip to the dealer, who will adjust the switch on the gearbox.

Presumably he wants to know without resorting to going to a dealer, any ideas anyone?
I would like to know as well as my does not come on at all.

I was being serious. If it's under warranty it should be fixed by the dealer. I think the switch is a little sensitive to adjust. If not perfect either they don't come on, they come on then go out, or come on when changing into 5th gear.

I don't think Tuscan's have been out there for long enough for the DIY crowd to get going on it. Thinking about it though - is the same gearbox used in other cars ? Maybe the Cerbera guys would know ?

Thanks Andy - going to see the dealer in a couple of weeks, until then the light form the hazards and rear fog light will have to suffice! I was expecting quite a lot more to go wrong with the car (after reading all the posts!) but in the short time I've had it I have to say that overall I'm more than impressed! Just waiting for some dry days and dry roads!
