Hi - I bought a Tuscan on Saturday (Ooooohh!! What a car!!) and am totally happy with it.... except for one small thing (just a minor niggle). For some reason, the off-side corner of the bonnet won't stay down as securely as the near-side. I don't know if the clips are prone to wearing or whether there's a knack to it (the Sales Manager seemed to get it to snap down with a satisfying clunk (after a bit of fiddling!)) but when I do it it eventually pops back up! Sometimes it lasts a few metres and sometimes I can do 100 miles before it pops up! Anyone have any experience of this problem or am I just "doing it wrong"?

The clips that hold it down will need adjustment to make sure they line up. If they are slightly out of line they can allow the bonnet to pop out. One of mine used to do it and once adjusted it's fine now. They are reasonably easy to adjust yourself or they're only a ten minute job for your dealer. If you still get problems they'll just put a new one on.
