hi peeps, just thought would share what happened yesterday, me and my lovely badgers nadgers a while ago volunteered the tuscan for charity to be part of a load of motors all different ages, types etc all for the ian rennie hospice A41 run appeal.

we all had first go on what should have been the opened A41 bypass - Aston clinton, bucks. typical road works over ran, so not for vehicles until october now, but the charity still had use of this amazing untouched, smooth as a babys whatsit, tarmaced road.

weather was fantastic too - so after the initial convoy of 70 odd mixed cars doing a convoy at 25mph, people could donate money to be a passanger at proper speed. Tuscan did a fantastic amount of contributions and the rush of driving on an empty road at speed was ace. a day well spent

i know in hind sight, what a place to have a car meet the aston martin guys were out in force, but never mind, will have to keep our ears open for something similar.

wonder if there will be the good old speed cameras down there when it opens officially, lovely stretch to go largggggggggeee on the pedal (although still keeping within the legal speed limits of course!!!)

I certainly missed a trick there. Would have loved to had a blat down there. Great fun for us drivers, show everyone what great machines these TVR's are and make money for charity at the same time. Quality day out by the sounds of it.

What sppeds did you manage to scare people at on that closed stretch of road?
