Hi to all fellow tuscaneers!!
Discussion
Hello to all other Tuscan owners!!!
I've been avidly reading all the threads here for the last few weeks and finally got round to posting my own news. I've owned my X reg tuscan for just over 6 months now and am having an absolute blast with it. No problems at all in 4000 miles. Just one massive smile - in fact, I keep looking in the garage to make sure I actually own it and not dreaming!!!!!
Anyway, the reason for my post is that I think it is high time I gave it some serious welly, without having to drive to Germany or break the law!
I live in Portsmouth and fancy doing a track day at Goodwood soon - anyone got any advice (dates, noise restrictions, do's and don'ts in a Tuscan)??? (I've never done a track day)
Cheers, Simon

I don't have details of running details for Goodwood but I can say that I took mine on the Keevle Tuscan track day a few months back and it was a great experience. Simon RO for the Cotswolds region did a superb job in organising it and have to say I learnt so much about the handling of the car and feel much more confident about it now. Also took down runway at Bruntingthorpe at Mania and got 160 out of it...was chicken and not pushing that hard
Go for it, you and the car will feel all the better for it.
Alan.

And I agree, Keevil was superb.
Make sure you take lots of masking tape for the front and side of your car.
take plenty of water (for you) - thanks ICE-T.
spare oil and fuel, a camara and prepair for lots of enjoyment..
With Goodwood it depends on the day, they have loud and quiet days, if I recall correctly, noisy days are 105db and only 5 cars on track at a time and quiet days are 98db (Tuscan with standard cans will be borderline).
The problem is that Chichester council have a mike by the chacane that goes back to their offices and records the noise levels so Goodwood can't even be generous with the limits - it is really stupid though, as there is an airfield in the middle of the track and the noise of some of those planes taking off is way louder than the cars
