Just returned from the TVR centre, Barnet after having a test drive (my 1st) in an X reg Tuscan 4.0.

Awesome!!

It was a lot easier to drive than I thought, esp at slow speeds. steering feels very quick for such a long bonnet.

Clutch biting point is v high up but you quickly get used to it.

Coming of the r/b and up the A1 it was given a bootfull and it was great to watch a Saphire Cossie disappear !! (and THAT noise !)

Sound was awesome and car felt very responsive!

High speed pod shake was a bit unnerving as was the slight wandering but hey, I can certainly live with that and maybe some are better than others!

I know I'm preaching to the converted but just had to share my 1st "hands on" experience..

Not long now then hopefully before I join the clan!

The first drive is a bit special isn't it?

The good news is that so is every other drive!

I've had mine 9 months and the most enjoyable drive was yesterday. And before that it was Monday and before that Sunday morning and before that.......

You get the picture.

Hope you find the one for you soon.

Fantastic! Make sure you DYR on this forum before committing to a Tuscan. Get some insurance quotes etc etc. Guys at the TVR Centre are great.

Notice you have a TT, if the Tuscan is going to replace this, and it is going to be an every day car, make sure the Tuscan is for you (running costs etc)

I've had one for a year, had trouble with it admittedly, but it is fantastic, so much so I shall be purchasing a new TVR quite soon I hope (just need to spec the colours etc)

Happy hunting for the right one.

Seriously?

What options are available? And what do the 19" wheels look like?

Justin,

I went up to the TVR Centre in my TT and left a Tuscan owner! I didn't even intend to test drive the Tuscan...

It's such a fantastic machine I've even started going to bed early so I can get up before the trafic to give it a blast. Just love it!

Go for it man,
Michael M.
