I've finally seen it!!!!

Went to Castle TVR today to see my newly delivered Tuscan S in Nebula Black. It was a bit dusty, but still looked amazing and now the 1st of September is getting soooo close. I placed my order at the beginning of May so its been a long time coming, but i'm sure it will be worth the wait.

Steve,
You are so going to enjoy!!, these cars are bloody awesome!. I am soon to be a three year old owner, nothing on the road looks and performs like a Tuscan. Enjoy!again!! I tend to repeat myself after numerous glasses of Merlot.
Graham 66, not like you to have verbal Diahho(shits), have you been away??

InEssex,
Hey mate, your time is nearly up then!
As you know had my S from Castle since 1st March, done 4,500 miles now, been to 2 track days....and its performed brilliantly.
Hope you can now make the Mid-Essex meets....prop is since I got mine (was the only one at Mid-Essex with the 'S')....loads of others have bought the same model so with yours we will have something like 5 'S's....maybe we should start our own little club
Maybe see you next meet...its only 2 weeks away...
Alan.
p.s. just be prepared for the amount of attention your car is going to attract where ever you go...it still amazes me when the whole street or roads stops and looks at MY car

Haven't been on here for a few weeks, so just catching up - funny enough I had been on the old Vino Rouge as well
So, Sept 1st finally came and I was at Castle TVR at 9 am in the morning. Got to drive off in my own amazing machine a couple of hours later. The car looked amazing and fortunatley it was a clear sunny morning and the nebula paint was looking as good as it possibly can. A few minor things wrong, a little bit of untidy interior work, a small tear in the leather at the back of the passenger seat, a scratch on the little window section next to the main window and a few marks in the paint work, mainly around the wing mirrors, but nothing could deflate my excitment. All just a part of the TVR experience I have come to expect. Castle TVR have been brilliant and have said they will put right anything I bring to their attention at its 1000 mile service. Had three days now getting to know my car and its all been very straight forward (touch wood). Anyway...just a quick question regarding tyre pressures...I was told by MC@Castle that it should be 22psi for the front and 24psi for the rear. Decided to check the tyres tonight and found all four tyres were at 24psi, so I deflated the front tyres to 22psi. On viewing my owners hand book it states that the front should be 28psi and the rear 25psi. Any thought or advice on what they actually should be?

Hey mate glad its worked out for you...
I took Michael Caine's advice and went for the tyre pressures you mention. When I went on track days I pumped them up to 25psi.
I kind of think Michael knows what he talking about being the factory race driver
Alan.
Congraulations!
I guess you've got one of the new 400bhp Ss. You must come along to the mid-essex meet this month and tell everyone how more powerful it is than Alf's car
Those pressures sound about right if you're on 35 profile tyres. I'm on 40 profile 18" Toyo's (235 front, 245) and have settled on 24 front, 26 rear.
I would take Mr Caine's word above everyone elses!
Cheers,
Andy.
