Whoooo hoooo

Are you out to play tomorrow at Pie on the Beach ? If not I expect I will see you at the Karting on the 24th unless you fancy meeting for a beer

Is it back with or without cats ?

The problem was a worn cam and split cam shaft case. Engine back to Blackpool but no cams available hence the wait.

The engine came back a couple of weeks ago but the dealer had trouble getting it running - ECU problem. ECU went back to TVR who sent another (faulty) one back by return of post. That one went back to be replaced by a working one and the rest, as they say, is history!

It still has the cats Bob, seems they weren't as bad as they first thought!

It certainly is Tuscan weather, although yesterday it was almost too hot! The temperature in the car was a good few degrees warmer than outside (and yes, I did have the roof off!)

No cams available!!?? TVR really do take the ps sometimes. Does that mean tha no speed six-engined cars were built during that time?

Apparently Rover (!) used to supply their cams but have decided to stop, so they're looking elswhere at the moment (at least, that's what they told me).

They don't have any cats either! It seems that they're out of stock of the whole of the "C" section in their parts department!

Maybe the 'C' button on their computer has worn out. It will be 'F' next for Finger Follower.

thanks matey

ws a foreign body in engine, which lovely dom has sorted, only trouble is that before all this happened the car had a low rev pull back stylee, well now the car is back, so is the bloody pullback, and with running it in, its even more noticeable. taking no chances this time, goes back to dealer on monday, but we are off next week to get the miles on her. oh well, hopefully they will find out and i will get her back for the bank holiday, there was a mention of throttle pot sensor or fuel sensor, trouble is its just had a 6000 mile service so i thought this would have been checked with the engine going back in and all.

at least dealer is keen to get it sorted, lucky i can use neils car next week. stil love the beasty to bits, though, nothing else like this.

will keep you posted, any thing on the bank holiday that you know of??
xx

Just a quick (and probably stupid!) question but did any of you guys get any compensation for being without your car for so long??
