Hey,
I'm less than 48 hours from calling myself a Tuscan owner. I won't go into describing my level of excitement because you've all been there yourselves...
I'm upgrading from a Chimaera 500, and the V8 does give a lovely throaty rumble which, I have to admit, does sound better than the straight 6. I'm thinking about sleeving the Tuscan cans to try and emulate that throaty rumble, but I just wanted to check in with you guys about any possible cons to this, from those who've been there done it...

I had mine sleeved and my brother has CCC on his Tuscan.
If you can stretch to the CCC's got for it. They're a quality product. If you can't/don't want to: for for the sleeves.
You said that you wanted to try to emulate the roar of a V8, just be aware that doing either of these will result in a louder note, but also a more tinnier metallic sound.
I am currently running in our new Tuscan, and hearing it's the bassey exhaust note, I would think twice about doing anything to this one...
...right until I hear the "shotgun" backfire of my brother's car!
Enjoy!

I have a couple of sets of Carbon Can Co cans, as well as the original TVR black ones. Use the CCC ones on the road, and swap back to the regular unes for track days, when noise could be a problem. 10 / 15 minute job to change them over. Dont know how long it takes to remove the sleves, can they be a bit hard work if they have been in a while ?
Although the last ttrack day I was on at Zolder both CCC and originals were over the 95db noise limit, so I'm seeing if CCC can make me an extra quiet set !
Thinking of getting some, maybe blue, should be a nice sontrast to my Diablo Orange Tuscan.
How do I add a picture on here ?

upload the pix to a website first then insert the text (use square brackets - these are just there to stop PH trying to insert a pic) {pic}www.url-of-pix.jpg{/pic} or hit the quote button on a post with pix to see the code.
How much did the CCCs cost BTW?
I got a bit of a deal on the cans as I met Somon from CCC on the ferry coming back from Zolder last year. We got chatting, I mentioned sleaving the exhausts to make my Tuscan louder, and Simon asked me if I thought there was a demand for after market cans.
I think as set is about £300 ish, best to give them a call, depends on colour / finish etc.
